The XPDF module makes it possible to convert documents automatically to PDF\/a, a format suitable for archiving. This can be configured according to case type, document type and MIME type (file format) so that the conversion occurs automatically when a file is closed. Furthermore, documents can also be manually converted to PDF\/a. When an employee converts a document to PDF\/a, a new version is created immediately.
